    2 out of 5 stars Navigation=Thumbs DOWN   August 30, 2010
    Car nut
    1. Navi is the worst! it keeps telling me to a road that would take me back 3 miles South on the highway when all I have to do is go up 1 block to the highway Northbound and it always says to take it. Where's the self learning?
    2. No mute button unless you hold down the voice button for 5 seconds. By that time you could of lowered the volume to zero.
    3. No detour button? couldn't find a detour? my old kenwwod had a detour and asked how long of a detour so i didn't have to drive all the way around to the destination.
    4. Need to spell everything correctly or could't find city or state or road
So disappointed in this system as far as navigation goes
Everything else was ok except for the sirius controls. Couldn't scroll through channels to see what on. just a scan button

I would not recommend to a friend. He would kill me!

    4 out of 5 stars Definately a flagship   August 18, 2010
    David Thomas (DISPUTANTA, VA, US)
Well let me say that this stereo is definitely worth the money. I bought it back in April, and I have certainly gotten my money worth from it. I truly love the iPod integration, which works like a charm. All my music plays crisp and clear, as if I were using the headphones with the iPod. I really enjoy using the different options to play my music, everything from the SD card to Bluetoothing it directly from my iPhone, although when I do bluetooth it sometimes it's a little choppy and pauses very slightly. The phone option worked very well, and calls through my car's speakers were loud and understandable. But I must say, when it came time to setup the bluetooth to my iPhone, it was very hard, but I blame that from on not reading the manual that came with the stereo. All my contacts and recently missed and missed calls were on the screen, and I rarely had to use the phone for anything. Lastly the gps feature. Although it served its purpose, I do have my gripes with it. Some locations were simply not found and I could easily find the same address on the maps on my iPhone, and I would use that as opposed to the gps unit. On some occasions, it would direct me in a circle instead of just letting me know that I needed to make a uturn and go in the direction I was previously going before going off route. But other than that it worked satisfactory for me. It let me know the amount of miles that I needed to drive to reach my destination, the amount of time, and the exact time that I would reach my destination. I like how can change how the map view can be changed during a route, and how the navigation voice plays through my car speakers making it very loud and attention grabbing. Lastly I enjoy the app available for the iPhone, although lately I haven't used very much. I can't really review the backup camera because I have had a hard time finding a good camera being that the stereo doesn't come with, but no worries because I've been driving without one for long enough.

2 out of 5 stars Not great.   August 8, 2010
    J. Ruan (San Dimas, CA)
Item is not accurate with my location. It is always displaying me driving on either the wrong side of the freeway or on houses. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO OTHERS! Not even people I dislike. This will be the last Pioneer product I will purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Nearly perfect, minor bugs though.   July 11, 2010
    B. Rodgers (Officially Undisclosed)
My main unit for comparison here is the AVIC F90BT, their previous flagship.
This one is faster to boot, more responsive, and more feature-filled.

There's still a few minor bugs:
If you don't "OK" the navigation warning before your phone connects, the voice control is messed up until you turn it off and on again, it's fairly easy to miss this if you have the unit on iPod or FM when you turn it off.
Just like the F90BT, sometimes browsing the iPod by artist letter gives you no results for letters that definitely have artists under them.

The voice control of nav is great for the categories in it, "Find nearest Sears" brings up a list of the nearest Sears very well, the directions are good, and the prompts are very good too, using pre-recorded numbers and such to tell you exit numbers without going to a robotic voice.
Voice control of iPod is similarly good, the best in the market. "Play artist The Hanslick Rebellion" does exactly what you'd expect it to, as does "Play Album Zetacarnosa".

    5 out of 5 stars Pioneer AVIC Z110BT   June 27, 2010
    chopstix
The unit performs just as advertised. Although a little time consuming to install, the features are well worth the trouble. I've had it a month and still discovering bells and whistles that amaze me. They call it their "flagship" model for a reason, it is a top-of-the-line piece of hardware that will give you complete enjoyment. The only slightly disappointing feature is the voice commanding. It can get a little lengthy and a little frustrating trying to input GPS information. I was a little hesitant to spend this kind of money but now I am so glad that I did.
